Architecture as Art

We walk around focused on where we are going, and often don't notice the striking beauty of the buildings designed by architects for our use. From the top: the parking deck elevator tower, NCAR Mesa Lab, and Virginia War Memorial. NCAR Mesa Lab is in Boulder, Co. where I went for a professional conference. It is just too striking not to include!

Silhouettes and Shadows

Low light poses problems for catching details of objects or people, but has provided me excellent opportunities to show the mood using silhouettes and shadows.
